I think we can all agree that October, like so many other months this year, has been very stressful. As many people prepared to celebrate Halloween and/or the changing of the seasons, we had an increase in Covid-19 cases across the globe and an increase in anxiety over the U.S. Presidential elections growing closer. This year has certainly been a challenging and stressful year and I can only hope everyone is looking after their physical and mental health.
In the spirit of self-care, I’ve attached a photo of my cat in this post. He’s sitting on my balcony in his harness and looking kind of grumpy. While it may not seem like it in the photo, I promise he *is* enjoying the sunshine!
As mentioned in September’s wrap-up, I took part in two reading challenges this month: 1) ARCtober with Kimberly Faye Reads and 2) Scream Queens Readathon with The Villainous Reader and Tays Tales.
For ARCtober, I managed to read four ARCs on my TBR list including Guardian’s Grace by Rebecca Zanetti, Hiring Mr Darcy by Valerie Bowman, A Very Highland Anthology by various historical romance authors, and A Favor for a Favor by Nat Chelloni. I’ve linked each of these books in the wrap-up below.
