Monthly Wrap Up

Monthly Wrap-Up: August 2020

Another month, another monthly wrap-up!

I spent several weeks of August still recovering from a chest infection so it meant I had quite a bit of time at home reading. Lots of 4, 4.5 and 5 star reads this month – yay!

Outside of reading, I also spent some time binge watching Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares (can you tell I’m a Gordon Ramsay fan? haha!) and tidying up my bookshelves. I’ll have to take a new shelfie photo soon but I’m definitely loving the layout a lot more. Everything is grouped by genre, then author within the genre. Personally, it makes finding books easier for me and helps me decide on a mood read. My shelf genres are: historical romance, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, young adult (mixed genres), romantic suspense/mafia romances (basically romances with any sort of legal/law element), general fiction/classics/courtroom dramas, and courtroom thrillers/regular thrillers/horror.

How do you categorise the books on your shelf?
By author, genre, colour or something else?

Now for the wrap-up…
