Mini Review: Hidden Gem – Skye Warren

Rating 5 Stars

Note: This is a prologue novella for upcoming book, Diamond in the Rough.

What’s the novella about?
Of all the girls in Paris… he picked me.
I was studying the Mona Lisa, and he was studying me. Not my sister. Me. He turned me upside-down. I hardly recognized myself through his eyes.

Beautiful. Interesting. But it was all a lie.

My Thoughts
Oh this is such a fantastic beginning for Skye Warren’s next book, Diamond in the Rough. I can’t wait to find out what happens next – I can already tell I’m going to love it!

It’s hard to review much of this story since it’s such a short little snippet leading up to the main book but all I can say is that it has the same fantastic writing as you’d expect from Skye Warren. The story may be short but it’s words pack a punch and leave you gripped on the thrilling tale awaiting the next move.

I also loved getting to revisit Evie and Hunter from Wanderlust. Although the books are standalone, Wanderlust could almost be considered book one in this ‘series’ as Diamond in the Rough is based on Wanderlust’s hero and heroine’s children so it’ll be really interesting to see what else befalls Holly and London.
